Daniel Thauvette

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the Thauvette Family share the passing of Daniel on January 4th at the age of 66, surrounded by family in the comfort of his home. He was a resilient fighter, having battled cancer for 23 years with nothing but perseverance and positivity. Cherished husband of 45 years to Denise Loiselle, devoted father of Sylvie and Yves, loving father-in-law of Rika Uemura and Daniel Legros, doting grandfather of Ayana, Yanik, Miyu and Maxim. Brother of Bernard (Hélène), Gérard (late Suzette), Raymond (June), Élizabeth Majewski (Zygmunt).
Also survived by his mother-in-law Thérèse Loiselle (late Gérard), sisters and brothers-in-law Bert and Francine Parthenais, Madeleine, Daniel and Monique Renaud as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Hozanna and Marie-Claire Thauvette (Lepage) and his brother Marc.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street, Cornwall. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Époux chéri depuis 45 ans de Denise Loiselle, père dévoué de Sylvie et Yves, beau-père aimant de Rika Uemura et Daniel Legros, grand-père adoré d’Ayana, Yanik, Miyu et Maxim. Frère de Bernard (Hélène), Gérard (feu Suzette), Raymond (June), Élizabeth Majewski (Zygmunt). Survécu également par sa belle-mère Thérèse Loiselle (feu Gérard), belles-soeurs et beaux-frères Bert et Francine Parthenais, Madeleine Loiselle, Daniel et Monique Renaud ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux. Prédécédé par ses parents Hozanna et Marie-Claire Thauvette (Lepage) et son frère Marc.
Les arrangements funéraires ont été confié à la maison funéraire M John Sullivan 341 rue Pitt Cornwall Une célébration de la vie aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer seraient appréciés.
