Darlene Isabelle Groves
Born September 21, 1945, died March 2, 2024, aged 78. Darlene was born in Cornwall and lived in the region for most of her life. After a long battle with lung cancer, Darlene passed at her residence in Cornwall. An avid bingo player, she will be missed by many friends and family.
Predeceased by her parents, Walter Groves and Donalda Groves (née Farlinger) of Martintown; and siblings Frank Groves and Judy Groves.
Darlene is survived by her sisters Linda Groves, Isabelle Groves and Joan Groves; her children Valerie Walker and Randy Walker, and her grandchildren Joseph Burke and Jessika Walker-Burke. As per Darlene’s request, there will be no funeral or church service. Internment of ashes to take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the North Branch Cemetery, Martintown, followed by a Celebration of Life.
