GELLATELY, David – At the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Thursday July 11, 2019 age 81 years. David Edward Gellately of Long Sault. Long term member of the Bell Pioneers. Beloved husband of the late Katie (Murphy) Gellately. Loved father of Ross Gellately (Dorothy) of Long Sault, Lynn Gellately (Penny) of Cornwall and Alfred Gellately (Janet) of Long Sault. Sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren Brittney, Joey, Amanda, Christina, David, Sarah and his 2 great grandchildren Markos and Amelia. Predeceased by his parents David and Hilda (Wilkinson) Gellately and one sister Ann Scott. To honor Mr. Gellately’s previous expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of David Gellately’s life will be held at the South Stormont Township Hall 2 Mille Roches Road Long Sault on Tuesday July 16, 2019 from 1pm until 3pm. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Ottawa Hospital General Campus Intensive Care Unit 501 Smyth Road Ottawa, Ontario K1H 8L6 or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
