Delia Lefebvre (Poirier)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Delia Lefebvre (née Poirier) at Maxville Manor on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Poirier and of the late Harold Lefebvre. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; Amedée Poirier and Marie-Louise Poirier (née Menard) and by her siblings; Joseph, Victor, Angus, Jonny, Thomas, David, George, Hilda, Rose, Celima and Mary Anne. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral on Wednesday. A chapel service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment in St-Anthony’s Cemetery in Apple Hill. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Association would be appreciated by the family.
