Denis Leo Benoit
Following a lengthy battle with COPD, it is with profound sadness yet peace that we announce the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather, Denis Leo Benoit, of Cornwall, ON, who passed away peacefully on August 12, 2022, at the age of 74, with family by his side. Survived by his loving wife, Denise (Marchand-Caron); daughter, Cindy (Bill); son Denis; grandchildren, Braydon, Landon, and Avery; brothers, Lyle (Darla), Larry (Ann), and Gerry (Sue); sisters, Audrey (Gerry) and Elaine; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Denis was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Linda (McCourt); his parents John “Joffre” and Marion (Bergeron); brother Ivan (Odette) and infant brother Norman.
