Denise Claire Ladouceur (Racine)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Claire (née Racine) Ladouceur at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre with her family by her side on Friday April 22, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of 62 years to Eugene (Louis) Ladouceur. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Lucienne (née Geoffrion)Racine. Loving mother of Suzanne Ladouceur, Paul Ladouceur (Nadia) and Nicole Ladouceur. Beloved grandmother to Melanie Ladouceur and Daniel Ladouceur. Devoted great grandmother to Oliver, Evelyn, Aubree and Olivia. Survived by her siblings Bernard Racine (Pauline), Guy Racine (Judy), Madeleine Drummie (the late Fred Drummie), Helene Dupuis (Benoit) and Sylvie Price (Peter). Denise was a longtime volunteer at the Cornwall Community Hospital and the Ladies Auxilliary. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 9:30 am, followed by a celebration of life at the Royal Canadian Legion. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Denise’s memory would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
