HOOKER, Denise (née Roy) – Mrs. Denise Hooker at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at the age of 83 years. Loving mother of Michael Stapley and Catherine Stapley. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Candice, Emily, Lindsey, Errik, Charitée, Christien, Kalon, Kelemen, Stephanie, and Nathaniel, and by 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Isabelle Girard (Melvin), Clovis (Trudy), Laurier, and Philip. Predeceased by her husband Jack Hooker, her children Kelly Stapley (Theresa Steenkamp), and Melissa St. Denis (Yvon Godard), her siblings Denis (Sophie), Gerald (late Doreen), Maurice (Lise), Patricia Dumond, and Viola Roy, and by her parents Clovis and Viola (née Primeau) Roy. A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. Donations in memory of Denise can be made to the charity of your choice.
