It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Derek William Thomas at Woodland Villa in Long Sault, ON, on Sunday, April 20th, 2025 at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Claudette Thomas (née Bricault). Loving father of Brian Thomas (Donna) and of the late Steven Thomas. Cherished brother-in-law of Claude Bricault (Evelyn). He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, Christine, Mark, David, Dominic, Aimee, Daniel and Angélique. He is predeceased by his parents; William and Kate Thomas (née Ketteringham) and by his sister Mary Upton.
Honoring Derek’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family invites all family and friends to gather for a Graveside Service on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Ingleside, ON.
