It is with a mixture of profound sadness and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Don on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife Audrey Marian Nixon and his family with his first wife, Norma McDowell(1930-1974): Donna Lawrence, Patricia Openshaw, Carol(Mark Roffey), Lorraine(Douglas Stewart), Chris(Alice), thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is fondly remembered by Darlene(Francois Pauze), stepdaughter from his second marriage to Beverley Reiter(1940-1993) and Audrey’s family: Shawn(Annik), Glen(Margaret), Kris(Laura) MacLeod and her six grandchildren.
