GRANT, Donald John Bennett– At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday September 26, 2019. He was 89. Beloved husband of the late Leona (Leroux) Grant. Loving father of Carey Grant (Cynthia Bernadez), Darlene Campbell (Graeme), Dale Barr (John), Sandra Yelle (Paul) and Sheldon Grant (Mai-Liis Renaud). Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren, Caley Campbell (Shannon), Shauna Cunning (Trevor), Barron Yelle (Erika), Dillon Barr (Vanessa), Grant Barr (Justyne), Jessie Nugent (Warren), Robyn Campbell, Brittany Yelle, Isaac Barr (Delaney), Joshua Grant, Natasha Grant, Ryan Grant and Isabella Grant and by 8 great-grandchildren, Maddison, Lyndon, Jackson, Brooke, late Jacob, Bennett, Aiden, Grayson and unborn baby boy Barr. Survived by 1 brother, Angus Grant (Marguerite) and 2 sisters, Theresa Cuomo (late Alfred E.) and Mary Grant (late Don MacIsaac). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Donald and Florence (MacMillan) Grant, his brother Hugh Grant (late Kate) and his sister Rita Kearns (late Francis). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Friends and family are requested to assemble at the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church on Wednesday for Funeral Mass at 11am. Committal at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery.
