Don passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Cornwall, Ontario at the age of 93 on August 6, 2021 at 8:35 PM. Beloved husband of Terri (nee Theresa Tomassini) for 63 years.
Loving father of Tara (Peter Bruno), James, Stuart, and Craig. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren David, Kristen; Saera, Meagan, their mother Ciara McHale; Julien, Gabriel, their mother Sandra MacKenzie, and Craig’s faithful dog Tess. Predeceased by his parents James and Pamela (nee Boulanger) and his siblings Betty, Joanne, Sandy, and Mary.
Don was an intelligent, wise, friendly, kind-hearted, genuine, fun loving, and adventurous man. A great conversationalist with a strong sense of loyal duty and was at his happiest hanging out with his family and friends enjoying a good meal.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM. He will be buried at a later date with his family at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Quebec City.
