Donat François Therriault
At Garry Armstrong, Long Term Care, on Sunday December 22, 2019. Donat François Therriault ; age 90 years. Beloved husband of Georgette (Labelle) Therriault. Dear father of Louise (Claude) of Ottawa, Francine (Rob) of Thunder Bay, Laurier (Teresa) of Keswick, Line of Medicine Hat and Marc of Ottawa. Loving grandfather of Jason (Annick), Joshua (Robyn), Shawn, Nicholas, Kevin, Derek and Scott and great -grandfather of Sidney and Julien. Dear son of the late Arthur Therriault and the late Florida Samson. Dear brother of late Rhéal, Clément and Gaston. Donat joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1952 for a term of 5 years. He worked many jobs in Cornwall including Atlas Hoist and worked for Commissionaires in Ottawa. He loved his family very much and enjoyed all sports, especially golfing and playing pool with his grandchildren. He will be forever in our hearts.
Memorial service and Mass will be held at Hope Cemetery, Elizabeth Bruyère Chapel, 4660 Bank Street , Ottawa Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1:00, followed by a reception at the same location.
