It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorine “Doreen” Martin (née Fournier) on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 90 years. Loving mother of Michael Martin (Laura) of Alberta, Francoise Caskenette (late Bruce) and Monique Bancroft (Steven) both of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Patrick and Jonathan, Stephanie, Andre, Andrew, Tracy, Jeffrey and Bradley, Nicholas and Kathryn, Sheldon and Deidre. Cherished great-grandmother of Emma and Liam, Oliver and Everly, Charlie, Zachary and Cassidy, Madison and Landon, Chloe and Dallas. Dear sister of Robert Fournier (Aline) of Cornwall, Desneiges Aubin (late Rene) of Oshawa, Veronica Summers (Alexander) of Smith Falls, Margaret Delorme (Jules) of Ottawa and Doris McAdie (Richard) of Surrey, BC. She is predeceased by her parents; Francois Fournier and Diane Fournier (née Carriere), her son; Ernest Martin (Rejeanne), her daughters; Suzanne McKee (late Richard) and Madeleine Belway (Don), her beloved friend of many years Raymond Longtin, her brothers; Rene Fournier (Mary Lou), Ronald Fournier (Iris) and Romeo Fournier, her sisters; Florette Fournier, Jeanine Gadbois (Gaston) and Ramona Ames and her former husband Fernand Martin. As per Doreen’s wishes cremation has taken place. Attendance controlled visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St. Cornwall, On (613-938-3888) on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 9 a.m. until time of service. The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 26th, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the spring. Due to capacity restrictions, we encourage guests to reserve a time at www.wilsonfuneralhome.ca or phone 613-938-3888 to attend the visitation or service.
