Dorothea Conners (Mathieson)

Passed away peacefully at the Osgoode Care Centre, Metcalfe, Ontario on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Dorothea Conners (nee Mathieson), age 90, formerly of Maxville. Beloved wife of the late K. Ross Conners (2019). Loving mother of David (Charlene), Cathy Moran (Paul) and Terri Ormson (Ron). Proud grandmother of Eilish, Katherine, Aidan, James and Tim. Predeceased by her parents George Gordon Mathieson & Margaret Morrison; also by her sister Ann Conners (late Ken) and brother Ben (Nyla). She is survived by one sister Helen Hay (late Ralph). Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro and Morris Funeral Home, 20 Main St. S., Maxville, 613-527-2898. A private celebration of Dorothea’s life will take place at a later date. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or your local S.P.C.A.. As a Memorial to Dorothea a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
