At the Maxville Manor, Maxville Ontario on Monday, February 3, 2020. Dorothy Dawson (nee Ermekeil) of Maxville Manor; age 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles Dawson. Loving mother of Joan Adams (Andrew), Charles Dawson (Micheline), and Debbie Blazis (Tony). Much loved grandma to Tiffany, Bradley, Carly, Brody and Lee, and great-grandma to Gavin, Emmit, and Liam. While Dorothy’s last few years coping with Alzheimer’s Disease were not easy, the love of family and the wonderful staff at Maxville Manor (who became her second family) helped immensely. As per her wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Dorothy a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
