Rochon, Dorothy “Dot” (née Quenneville) ~ Peacefully, with family at her side, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the age of 92 years.

Dot will be greatly missed by her children; Paulette Heard (Tom), Roland Rochon, Lucie Rochon (Rich Feutz), Jo-Ann Drew and Debbie Parisien (John).

Treasured sister of Wesley (Shirley) and Ronald (Fleurette) and loved sister-in-law of Maurice (Joan) Rochon, Georgette Allaire, Claudette Legault and Suzanne Charlebois.

She will be fondly remembered as Crazy Nanny by her grandchildren; Jeffrey Heard (Natasha Juteau), Gregory Heard (Andrea), Matthew Parisien (Véro), Kevin Drew, Sarah Parisien (Scott Lavalla) and Michael Drew along with her chosen grandchildren Jesse Glider (Melissa), Alicia Memmott (Kevin) and Lucas Glider (Beth).

She had great love for her great-grandchildren Micaela, Nathaniel, Ethan, Pearl, Charlie, Mathias, Fred, Callum and Tali along with her chosen great-grandchildren Jensen, Jett, Maverick, Cruz, Saylor, Kalli, Annabelle, River and Truly. Dot will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Predeceased by her husband Aurelien “Pit” Rochon, her lifelong friend Fernand “Peanut” Larochelle, her parents Wilfrid and Pearl (née McCormick) Quenneville, and her brothers Wilfred, Roy, Stanley and Clifford.

In keeping with her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the care and direction of Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841)
