Dr. Roy Joseph Richard of Glen Roy passed peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, age 66 years. Beloved husband for over 37 years to Anna Gentile. Proud father of Vincent Richard (Whitney Clayton), Andrea Richard (Enoch Kwok) and the late Maria Richard. Loving brother of Karen Gerritsen (John) and Kim Richard. Predeceased by his parents Roy Richard and Jeanne Richard (née Rudder). Dr. Richard was well respected in the community where he practiced as a Dental Surgeon for over 36 years. Roy was known for his irreverent sense of humour and had a tremendous love for his family. He was a talented guitar player with a passion for all music. He had a youthful spirit and enjoyed spending time in nature and the great outdoors. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria ON (613-525-2772). Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service was held on January 9th. As a memorial to Roy a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
