Dwayne Lowe
Wednesday, January 7th, 1959 – Friday, June 11th, 2021.
Dwayne Merle Lowe born January 7, 1959, died suddenly on June 11, 2021. Loving husband & best friend to Teresa “Babs” McLeod. Proud father of Steven Lowe, stepfather of Craig Taylor. Dear brother to Doug (Debbie) and Doreen (Hank). Predeceased by his parents John & Kathleen Lowe (nee Dugdale) and brothers Jimmy (late Marilyn) & Terry (late Fran). He is survived by his cherished aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. Dwayne was born and raised on the family dairy farm at Bearbrook, which held such treasured memories for him. Hockey was always a part of Dwayne’s life as a player, coach and mentor to many. His mechanical and common-sense approach to everything was shared throughout his valued teaching career at G.D.H.S.. Dwayne’s love of animals was evidenced at our farm in Glen Roy; Vinny, Suzie, Dixie and Bert will miss him terribly. Although taken too soon, Dwayne leaves a legacy of incredible memories of a life well lived and a love that “will give us some protection forever.” Relatives and friends may attend a visitation at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. S., Alexandria (613-525.2772) on Thursday June 17, 2021 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 10 to 11 am. For those who wish to attend the attendance-controlled visitation, must call the Funeral Home between M – F 9 am – 5 pm, to register your attendance. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Glen Nevis. There will be an outdoor gathering at Trinity Anglican Church, Bearbrook, Ontario on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bearbrook, Ontario (Box 51, 5919 Rockdale Road, Vars, Ontario, K0A 3H0) or to a GDHS (212 Main Street North, Alexandria, Ontario K0C 1A0) bursary for a graduating student furthering their education in Mechanics would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Dwayne a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live. Online messages of condolence may be made at www.munromorris.com
