GOULET, Edgar Leonide – on May 31, 2020 at the Cornwall Community Hospital; age of 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Madeleine (née Turpin) Goulet. Loving father of Leo Michaud, Linda Landry (Guy), Michel Goulet, Pierrette Goulet, André Goulet (Laura) and Sylvie Goulet. Adored grandfather of 12 grandchildren. Cherished great-grandfather of 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Anita Lauzon, Dolores Asselin, Leona Hurtubise and Marielle Bériault. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Laura (née Poirier) Goulet. Also predeceased by his sisters Jeannette Lalonde, Simone Benoit, Aline Charpentier and Olga Habermell. Edgar will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482). Attendance controlled visitation and Funeral will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2020, followed by Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
