Koritnik, Edita – on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. She was 84. Loving mother of Milan Kos (Nathalie Perrier) of Montreal, Ida Kos (Marcel Larocque) and Susie Kos both of Cornwall. Sadly missed by her grandchild Emma Cappello, honorary grandson Phillip Wu, nephew Drazen Turk and Niece / Goddaughter Goranka Mikulicic. She is also survived by her siblings Ankica Marcelia of Rijeka, Croatia and Dragica Turk of Zagreb, Croatia. She is predeceased by her parents Vjenceslava and Regina Koritnik Malnar. Edita had a degree in Hotel Management and immigrated to Canada on December 4, 1965 where she spent her entire life taking care of everyone around her. She was a great cook – family and friends will especially miss her apple strudel. She was the rock of the family. The family wishes to thank the Cornwall Community Hospital doctors and nurses for their care and compassion. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Rite of Committal at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
