BISSONNETTE WHITE, Edith Mae ~ Peacefully, with family at her side, on Thursday December 5, 2019 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 76 years. Loving wife of the late Gerald Louis Bissonnette. She leaves behind her two daughters Kimm White (Jeff Main) of Rosslyn, ON and Rhonda Shaw of Cornwall, ON. Edie will be sadly missed by her grandchildren William, Nicholas Dakota, Ashley, Ashton and Thomas as well as by her great-grandchildren. Left to mourn are her brothers Cam, Barry and Wayne Shaw and her sister Bonnie Renaud. Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Lillian (Reid) Shaw, her son Robert Bissonnette and her siblings Ronnie, Larry, Leslie, Robert, Barbara and Florence. Arrangements under the care and compassion of LAHAIE & SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, East Branch, 614 First Street East, (613-933-2841). A Celebration of Life to be held at the Royal Oaks Co-op Community Hall December 18, 2019 at 2pm. A private family internment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, the family asks that you perform a simple act of kindness to a stranger. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
