Edward J Lepage

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Edward Lepage on October 18, 2021 in his 85th year (84 years old) at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, he was surrounded by his loving family. Edward loved his family and always enjoyed when friends and family were together. He would often say “If you’re in town stop around” and would end a telephone conversation with “bye for now”. Edward was survived by his wife Agathe (St. Denis). Loving father of Stephen Lepage (Catharine), Brian Lepage (Brigette Renaud), JoAnne Sigurdson (Dale), Karen Ingola (Rody) and Stepfather to Sylvie Rose (Gary) and Maurice Besner. Cherished grandfather of Eric Lepage, Jenna Ingola, Curtis Tighe, Micheline Kreska (James), Nicole Besner, Jennifer Rose, Matthew Rose, Sarah Amelotte (Joel), Jessica Lariviere (Robbie) and Benjamin Thibeault. Great grandfather of Dominic Lepage, Mya Lepage, Lydia Kreska, Rukah Lariviere, Brynn Amelotte and Mason Amelotte. He will be lovingly missed by many of his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dear brother of Roger Lepage (late Betty), Joan Cashion (Cameron), Charlene Dyer (Keith), Ray Lepage(Mary-Lee), Wayne Lepage (late Florence), Debbie Mondoux, and June Malette (James). Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Gertrude (nee McLaughlin) Lepage and first wife June Lepage (Eamer). Also predeceased by his siblings Elnore Sauve (late Marcel), Dearna Potvin (late Martin Moreau), Rene Lepage (late Ferne), Gary Lepage and daughter-in-law Gisele Lepage. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. visitation will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions attendance will be controlled and those attending are required to wear a face mask and respect the social distancing guidelines. Private Funeral Liturgy will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday October 25 at 11:30 AM, followed by a private rite of Committal at St-Andrews Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to your charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
