Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2019 at her residence in Alexandria; Elisabeth Lenczinski (nee Melle), at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Ladislaus ‘Victor’ Lenczinski. Loving “Oma” of Glen (Paula), James (Stephanie), Carolyn (Strato), Michelle (Sam). She was proud of her eight great-grandchildren (one more expected shortly). Dear sister of Mike Melle (Mary) and Mary Ehret. Dearest friend of Martha Taraszczuk. Predeceased by her children Josef Lenczinski and Ann Coventry (late Reg) and by her parents Wendelin and Helen Melle. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 10:30 am at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, 19998 County Road 18, Saint Raphael’s (South Glengarry), Ontario. Burial in the Parish cemetery will follow the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the St Raphael’s Church.
