Peacefully at the Chartwell Lancaster LTC on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Elizabeth “Betty” Chisholm (née Bernard) formerly of St Raphael’s; age 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Chisholm. Loving mother of Cynthia McGillivray (Dean), late Debbie, late Bruce and the late Bernard. Predeceased by her parents Flora Lapointe and Henri Bernard also by her sisters Marie-Anne, Florida and brothers Edmond, Alphonse, Johnny and Leo. Caring sister of Albert and Omer. Proud grandmother of Nathaniel, Veronique, Chloe, Ryan, Mikayla, Chad and Dakota also five great-grandchildren: Breanna, Hailey, Dylan, Mya and Darian. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday at 11 am. Lunch to follow in the Funeral Home. Spring burial of cremated remains in the St Raphael’s Parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
