Suddenly at the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, June 14, 2021. Elizabeth Helen “Betty” Doonan (née Lobban) of Lancaster; age 75 years. Beloved wife of Ronald ‘Ron’ Doonan. Loving mother of James (Michele) and Steven (Jena). Cherished grandmother of Heaven, Maggie, Mia and Reilly. Dear sister William ‘Bill’ Lobban. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Margaret Lobban (nee Edgeler). Relatives and friends may attend a visitation at of Munro and Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster, ON (613-347-3629) on Thursday June 24, 2021 from 7 – 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Friday June 25, 2021 at 11:30 am, followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery. Those who wish to attend the attendance-controlled visitation or Mass, must call the Funeral Home between Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm, to register your attendance. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. The family will hold a gathering to celebrate Betty’s life once restrictions are lifted for those who cannot attend. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Betty a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
