MARION, Ernest “Ernie” – Mr. Ernest Emile Marion at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of 58 years to Lorna Marion (née Leger). Loving father of Sylvie Marion and Tracy Marion Smith (Ted Smith). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Kale Bertrim (Kelsie McConkey), Mara Marion and Matt Casey, and his great-grandchildren Aubrey Bertrim and Ellie Bertrim. Dear brother to Claude Marion (Caroline Richard) and Lucien Marion. Predeceased by his siblings Leo Marion (Anita Periard), Gerrard Marion (Regeanne Viau), Aurele Marion, Andre Marion (Micheline Otis), and Theresa Marion (Gary Dore)(Michael R. Robillard), and by his parents Gerard and Simone (née Longtin) Marion. Ernie is remembered as a true dad and family man, a devout catholic of profound faith, who possessed a quiet stillness. The patience of a saint who still enjoyed a glass of wine. A “Jack of all trades”. Cremation has taken place.
