Ernest “Ernie” McQuillan
Tuesday, May 16th, 1950 – Thursday, February 4th, 2021.
At the Lancaster LTC on February 4, 2021, Ernest ‘Ernie’ Hugh McQuillan of Maxville at 70 years of age. Dear brother of Anne McQuillan, Cheryl Stephens (Edward) and Brian McQuillan (Kathy). Predeceased by his parents Ernest Joseph and Mary McQuillan (nee Morrison). Proud uncle to Jennifer Stephens (Jodell Clingo), Michael Stephens (Samantha), Gary McQuillan and Bryan McQuillan. He will be missed by his close friend William ‘Bill’ Redman. As per Ernie’s wishes cremation has taken place and his cremated remains will be buried in Montreal at a later date. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. Maxville (613-527-2898). In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his honour to Charity of your choice. As a Memorial to Ernie a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
