VILLENEUVE, Eugene – at home peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Madonna (née Duffy). Loving father of Mike (Carole “Coco” Veenstra) and Diane Lalonde (Jean). Cherished grandfather of Sara Lalonde (Scott) and Ryan Lalonde. Predeceased by his parents Doreen and Joseph Villeneuve. Dear brother of Robert (Madeline), Rita, Vivian Welch (Ken), and Elaine Leger (late Maurice). Predeceased by siblings Raymond, Marcel (Carole), Olive, and Lilian Coleman (Jack). Eugene will be missed by Shannon (Tiny) Roderick (late Gerald), Elburn Duffy (Jeanine), Lillian Duffy (late Lance), his nieces and nephews as well as many loving friends, the Cornwall Curling Club community and the Summerheights Golf community.
A Celebration of Eugene’s life will be celebrated at Saint Peters Parish, 2900 Second Street East on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11 am. Arrangements entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482).
