ASTELS, Eva (née Hawboldt) – Mrs. Eva Leone Astels passed at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday January 31, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of Thorley Astels. Dear sister of Graham, Gordon, Jim, Robert, Shirley, and Joan. Predeceased by her parents Fraser and Marjorie (née Meisner) Hawboldt. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, where visitation will be held on Friday February 8, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9PM and again on Saturday from 9:30AM until the time of service. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday February 9, 2019 at 11:00AM. Cremation to follow with interment at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.
