MALONEY, Evelyn – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Evelyn Mary Maloney (née McDonald) at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday, July 14th, 2021 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of Wilfred Maloney for 64 years. Loving mother of Brian Maloney (Bernadette) of North Kawartha, On, Barry Maloney (Nancy) of Calgary, AB, Carol Anne Maloney of Williamstown, On and Kevin Maloney (Sherri) of Lakefield, On. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Beloved daughter of the late William McDonald and the late Emily McDonald (née Sloan). Dear sister of Kenneth McDonald (late Alma) of Cornwall, Clarence McDonald (Anne) of St. Andrew’s West, Marina Beaudette (late Emile) of Niagara Falls, On, Doreen Bray (late Phillip) of Cornwall, Hilda Shields (late Bernie) of Long Sault and Linda Diguer (Jack) of Apple Hill. She is predeceased by one brother Earl MacDonald (late Denise). A controlled visitation will take place at Wilson Funeral Homes Ltd. (613)938-3888), 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, On, on Friday July 16, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 11 am. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. Interment to follow in St. Andrew’s West cemetery.
