PERKINS, Fernande “Fern” (Carriere) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday, January 8th, 2021. She was 68. Loving mother of the late Tina Perkins and grandmother of Taryn Point and Tristan Point. Survived by her brothers, Roland Carriere (late Nicole), Fernand Carriere (Laurette), and her sister, Marie Claire Carriere (Shirley). Fern is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Elie and Jeanne (Desrosier) Carriere and her very special aunt Maria who was very important to Fern. Due to Covid-19 restrictions all services are private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Rite of Committal at St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
