At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday August 19, 2021. Frances Madeline Lauzon (nee Macdonald) of St. Andrew’s; age 72 years. Beloved wife of Guy Lauzon, and by a previous marriage to the late Larry Lafave. Chosen mother of Jeffrey Lauzon (Candace) of Cornwall, and Lonna Lea Cobus of Perth. Sadly missed by her chosen grandchildren Joey, Jesse, Brooke, Kyle, Elise, Hazel, and Wade, and by 4 chosen great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Fraser Macdonald (Shirley), and Mary Stanczyk (Frank), and sister-in-law of Bernadette Lafave (Carolyn Valley) and Mary Jarvo (Sandi Adams). Predeceased by her brother Robert Macdonald (late Rita), and by her parents Ronald and Madeline Macdonald (nee Daly). A Visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, (613-938-3888) on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2-4 pm, and on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Due to the Covid restrictions, a Mass of Christian Burial with seating capacity of 100 guests for family and friends will be celebrated in the St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. Those who wish to view the Funeral Service live online may do so at the following links facebook.com/louis.groetelaars or at facebook.com/kavproductions. Both links can also be found by visiting the Funeral Home website. The Funeral Service will also be recorded and can be viewed at a later time by visiting the Funeral Home website.
