Francine Filion
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francine Filion, at the age of 67, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Loving and proud mother of Tina and Tracy (Cory). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Jordyne, Char-Leigh, Ryder, Cody, Elliot and Dalia.
She was the daughter of the late Claude and Fernande Myre. Loving sister of Diane Montpetit (Patrick), Claudette Matte (late Roger Bourget), Guy Myre, Sylvie Hickman (late Dale), Céline Verville (Luc) and Chantal Herrington (Gerry). Predeceased by her sister Joanne Roy (Maurice). She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and their families. In keeping with Francine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private urn committal will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Cornwall Hospice or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
