GOVAN, Françoise – Passed away peacefully at the Hospice Cornwall on Sunday, October 6, 2019. Françoise Doris Govan (née Boisvert) of Alexandria; age 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Dr. William Govan. Loving mother of Will Govan of Sudbury, and Francine Govan of Alexandria. Loving grandmother of Austin and Mackenzie Govan. Dear sister of Gilles Boisvert (Constance) of Thunder Bay, Marc Boisvert (Ann) of Owen Sound, and Paule Boisvert of Timmins, and sister-in-law of Fr. John Govan of Pickering. Dear daughter of the late Aristide and Bella Boisvert (née Robitaille) Relatives and friends may call at the MUNRO & MORRIS FUNERAL HOMES LTD., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Françoise a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
