La famille Lalande a le regret de vous annoncer le décès de M. Gabriel Lalande. Décédé le Dimanche 6 avril, 2025 à l’âge de 94 ans à Russell, Ontario il était l’époux bien aimé de feue Lorraine Barrette.
Il laisse dans le deuil ses fils, Guy (Claire), Charles (Deborah), Martin (Denyse), Patrice (Maryse), et Jasmin (Kathleen), ainsi que ses petits-enfants, Anna-Christine, Julien, Emmanuel (Josée-Anne), Marie-Michelle, Béatrix, Flavie, Christophe, Gabriel, Thomas, Elizabeth, Félix, et Clara, et également ses arrière-petits-enfants, Aurélie et Laurent. Il était le fils de feu Edmond Lalande et de feue Marie-Jeanne Bertrand.
Lui survivent son frère Pierre-Paul (Odette), ses sœurs Ghislaine (Hébert) et Sœur Florence S.C.O., ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux, et nièces. Il fut précédé par sept frères, Gérard, André, Raymond, Bruno, Gonzague, Jacques, et Laurent, et cinq sœurs, Edna, Isabelle, Estelle, Marie-Reine, et Simone.
La messe funéraire aura lieu le lundi 28 avril 2025 à 11 h en l’église de la Nativité.

It is with a heavy heart that the Lalande family announces the death of Mr. Gabriel Lalande. Deceased on Sunday, April 6th, 2025 at the age of 94 years in Russell, Ontario, he was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine Barrette. He is survived by his sons, Guy (Claire), Charles (Deborah), Martin (Denyse), Patrice (Maryse), and Jasmin (Kathleen), as well as his grandchildren, Anna-Christine, Julien, Emmanuel (Josée-Anne), Marie-Michelle, Béatrix, Flavie, Christophe, Gabriel, Thomas, Elizabeth, Félix, and Clara, and also his great-grandchildren, Aurélie and Laurent. He was the son of the late Edmond Lalande and of the late Marie-Jeanne Bertrand.He is also survived by his brother Pierre-Paul (Odette), his sisters Ghislaine (Hébert) and Sœur Florence S.C.O., as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces. He was precedeased by seven brothers, Gérard, André, Raymond, Bruno, Gonzague, Jacques, and Laurent, and five sisters, Edna, Isabelle, Estelle, Marie-Reine, and Simone.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday April 28, 2025 at the Nativity Church at 11 a.m.
