HUGHES LEFEBVRE, Gabrielle Bernadette – Peacefully, with family by her side, on Sunday, October 6th, 2019 at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Pierre Hughes and of the late Roger Lefebvre. She leaves behind her two beautiful daughters Peggy Séguin (Pierre) of Cornwall and Carole Hamilton (Kirk) of Madison, AL. Adored grandmother of Ryan, Amanda (Jason), Sarah, Alexandre and Sophie and great-grandson Thomas. Left to mourn are her siblings Stella Mainville (late Rhéal), Lionel (Georgette), Soeur Thérèse St. Onge (Congrégation de Notre-Dame) and Monique Gallant (late Jack). She is predeceased by her parents Henri and Jeanne (DeChamplain), her sisters Hélène and Jeannette Gratton (late Ernest) and by her brother François (Thérèse). Gabrielle will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, and step-sons Roger Jr and Daniel Lefebvre. Visitation will take place at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME (East Branch), 614 First Street East on Friday, October 11th, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm, and from 7pm to 9pm, and on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 from 9am until the time of service. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Lahaie and Sullivan Funeral home at 10am on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 with private internment to follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery.
