PASCHEK, Gabrielle – With much sadness and heavy hearts we must announce the passing of our dear Gabrielle Zaczyk-Paschek on June 26, 2019, at the age of 65. Gaby, who lived up to her name, touched many lives in an unforgettably bright fashion and will be forever cherished as being ‘Gaby’. Born in Fulda, Germany, Gaby along with her mother and younger brother immigrated to Canada to find happiness and a new way of life in 1969. Gaby married at the tender age of 18 to Wolfgang Paschek for 41 years of marriage that produced three beautiful children. Gaby was the proud mother of Stefanie who was born in the early years but sadly passed in her infancy. She is survived by two wonderful sons, Jason and Stefan who stood proud and supported their loving mother until her unfortunate early departure. Gaby is survived by her mother Katharina Sauve (Ernest Stabenow), brothers Juergen Zaczyk (Joy) and Mike Sauve (Sharon), as well as the many loved nieces and nephews: Tarah (daughters Olive and Indie), Katie, Jack, Ellie, Jacob, Joshua, Roman and Karl; Also, a dear Aunt Elfreida Gudelis, and many cousins domestically and abroad. Predeceased by her father Eduard and niece Jasmine. We all loved you more than you know … ’till we meet again. As per Gaby’s request there will be no visitation, a private service will be held on July 20th.
