Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Francis “Garry” O’Connell of Williamstown; age 74 years. Beloved husband of Ellin O’Connell (nee Molloy). Loving father of Anastasia (Stacey) Chisholm (Scott Halliday) of Cornwall, and D’Arcy (Angie) of Williamstown. Cherished grandfather of Liam Chisholm, Seamus, Kieran, and Phoebe O’Connell. Dear brother of Michael (Donna). Predeceased by brothers and sisters Gerald (Sharon), Mary Carley (Keith), Keith (Noreen), Dennis (Rita), Bernice Costello (Paul), Brian (Helen), Terry (Pat), Harry (Marjorie), Ida Anne, and Bernard (Judy). Dear son of the late Harry and Gertrude O’Connell (nee Sullivan). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Williamstown at a later date. Date and time to be announced. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, The Norwesters and Loyalists Museum and the Char-Lan Foodgrains Bank would be appreciated by the family.
