BISSONNETTE, Gaston – passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Sunday, March 28, 2021. Gaston Joseph Bissonnette of Cornwall; age 91 years. Beloved husband of Phyllis Bissonnette (Née Doherty). Loving father of Joanne Laflamme (Yves) of Maxville, Allen Bissonnette (Denise) of Long Sault, Christine Chartrand (François) of Cornwall, Lina Bissonnette-Leroux (Peter) of Summerstown, and Louise Bissonnette of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Julie, Lynne, Luc, Andre, Sylvie, Adèle, Sophie, Mathieu, Korry and great-grandfather of Zachary, Bryana, Lucas, Ethan, Annie, Hailey, Grayson, Elsie, Mavea, Kylie, Isabelle and Olivier. Dear brother of Rhèal Bissonnette (late Claire), André Bissonnette (Rose), all of St. Malachie, QC and Bibianne Séguin (Maurice) of Cornwall. Dear son of the late Alphonse Bissonnette and the late Alice Vachon. Predeceased by his sister Françoise Loiselle (late Vital) and his brother Yvon (Collette). Gaston will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh St West (613-932-8482).
