It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Gaspard Martel on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Larraine Martel. Loving father of Wendy Card (Wes), Natalie Martel and Lori McKinley (Tim). Cherished grandfather of Brittany and Benjamin Card. Dear brother of Bill Peterson (Rita). Predeceased by his parents Gaspard and Mary (née Dupuis). George will be sadly missed by several friends and his extended family, most of all his companions Annie and Morty. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. ( Past President of RCAF Association Wing #424, Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #297 and Life member of the Knights of Columbus #755).
