DESJARDINS, Georges–It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Georges, on Sunday November 3, 2019. He was 72. He leaves his loving wife of 50 years, Bernadette (McDermid) Desjardins. Loving father of Marc Desjardins. Sadly missed by 2 brothers, Gerry (Diane) and Charlie (Donna) and 1 sister, Diane Lemieux (Gerry). Georges will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and by his extended McDermid family. Predeceased by his parents, Carmel and Therese (St. Amand) Desjardins. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Friends and family are requested to assemble at St. Francis de Sales Church on Friday November 8, 2019 at 10am for Funeral Mass. Committal to follow at St. Columbans Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
