Gertrud Matt
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gertrud Matt, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on April 8, 2025, at the age of 84.
Gertrud was born on October 10, 1940, to Eugen Schatzmann and Josefine Reich. She was a loving wife to her late husband, Quido Matt, and a devoted mother to Werner, Peter (Harmony), Ernst (predeceased), and Elizabeth. Gertrud’s legacy continues to live on in her children and extended family.
As a grandmother, she found great joy in her role, with her grandchildren—Katherine (Joey), Richard, Andrew (Kellie), Christina, Dominik, and Phillipp—bringing much light to her life. In her later years, Gertrud was blessed with the arrival of her 6 great-grandchildren, her newest great-granddaughter Khloe, brought an extra sparkle to her heart.
