Gervais “Gerry” Joseph Pelletier
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of a kind, gentle and caring man with family by his side, Gervais “Gerry” Pelletier at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the age of 83 years. Gerry will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Doris and his loving daughter Sylvie (late Shawn Piche). Cherished Pépère to his two grandsons Jesse (Karissa) and Jordan (Andréanne) and three great- grandchildren Mason, Leah and Hudson. Predeceased by his parents Florent and Jeannette (née Ouellet) Pelletier, brothers Doris and Michel and sister Charline. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Gilles (Hugette), Janick, Ghislain (Lorraine), Jeannot (Doris), Roger (Rita), Linette (Guy), Renette (Ronald) and Mario. Special brother-in-law to the late Irene, the late Ronald, Dolores (Larry), George, Gerald, Denis (Muriel), late Lionel, Nancy (Robin) and Carmene (Roger); and son-in-law to the late George and the late Yvette Laderoute. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, family, friends and past co-workers. Gerry was someone you could always rely on; honest and a hard worker. A man of a few words but of good “zingers”. He never left without a handshake and “A la prochaine chicane”. Doris and family extend their appreciation to the caring staff at Albert House, SJCCC for their compassionate care. Arrangements entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street, Cornwall. A Service of Remembrance will take place at a later date in St. Francis de Sales Parish.
