MONTPETIT, Gilles Arthur – peacefully, at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday November 1, 2019. Gilles Montpetit of Cornwall; age 76 years. Beloved husband of Wihelmina “Willy” Martin and the late Violet (née Pyke) Montpetit. Dear father of Gilles Jr. (Louise) of Hawkesbury, Micheal (Yan) of Nepean, Arthur (Norma) of Cornwall and Ronnie (Gail) of Hawkesbury. Proud grandfather of Alexandra, Joel, Samantha, Stephan, Natalie, Barry, Derek and Ronnie Jr. Loving brother of Claude (Colette), Bernie (Susie), Pierre (Mavis), Patrick (Diane), Gérard (Jackie) all of Cornwall and Nicole Hammond (Jim) of Guelph. Predeceased by one sister Réjeanne Pyke (Harry). Dear son of the late Romeo Montpetit and the late Rose (née Leger) Montpetit. He will be missed by mans best friend Jasper. Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL HOMES EAST BRANCH 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday November 6, 2019 and Thursday November 7, 2019 from 12 Noon until the time of Funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday November 7, 2019 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery.
