TAILLEFER, Gisèle (née Servais) – peacefully on September 19, 2020 at the Carefor Hospice in Cornwall; after a brave courageous battle with Cancer; age 83 years. She was born in Cornwall. Survived by her loving husband Bazil Taillefer, Loving mother of Lynn Wylie (Greg Wylie). Cherished grandmother of Benjamin Wylie. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Claire (née Langlois) Servais. Dear sister of Thérèse Laporte (Jacques), Pauline Gendreau (Germain), Lise Legault (Bob), Mariette Laflèche (Del), Denise Montroy (Cecil), Maurice Servais. Sister in law of Ginette Bourassa Varin (Bernard) and the late Pierrette Servais, Roger Servais and Claudette Bissonnette. Gisèle will be sadly missed by all. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at the Cornwall Hospice, The Cornwall Community Hospital including all others involved in providing exceptional care to Gisèle Taillefer. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482). To honor Gisele’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Funeral Service was held. As expression of sympathy, Memorial Donations to Carefor Hospice Cornwall, Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
