Mrs. Gladys Muriel Roy peacefully in Cornwall on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the age of 101 years.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas Clarence Roy in 1976 and son Melvin Douglas in 1996. Loving mother of Jean Larmour (Richard) of Richmond Hill, Alan Roy (Nina) of Victoria BC, Melvin Roy Predeceased, Donald Roy (Mavis) of Cornwall, Michael Roy (Patricia) of Long Sault, Ellen Silva (Martin) of Chicago, USA and Deborah Bouchey (Gary) of Long Sault. Cherished sister of Donald Ford Kippen (late Doris) of Weston ON. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Carolyn, Colleen, Melvin, Robbie, Andrew, Jennifer, Triston and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by five brothers Stanley, Malcolm, Cecil, Fred, Kenneth and three sisters Christena, Mable, Jessie and her parents Alexander and Jessie (née Munro) Kippen. Visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 12 PM to 2 PM, with chapel service to follow at 2 PM. Cremation to follow service. Rite of Committal at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. As expression of sympathy, memorial donation to Alzheimer Society Cornwall or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
