BLANCHARD, Gloria Jeanine (nee Brunet) – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jeanine Blanchard (nee Brunet) on March 27th, 2019, in her 95th year at St. Joseph Continuing Care Centre. She leaves behind her son Michael (Annette) and her daughter Mariette of Ottawa. She was predeceased by her sons Robert and Roger. She will be sadly missed by her daughter in law Helen (Gilles Gosselin), her sister Lyette Ladouceur (late Roger), her brothers Art Brunet(Fleurette) and Jim Brunet(Pauline). Dear daughter of the late Euclide & Élianna (Campeau) Brunet. Predeceased by her brothers Zenor Brunet (late Rachelle), Gérard Brunet (late Irene) and sister Marie Godard (late Gerry). Proud grandmother of Joshua (Linda), Melanie (Moises), Nathan Weir (Marina), Anik Blanchard Lévesque (Martin), Adam Weir (Brittany), Joel and Michael Weir (Gaetano) and great grandmother of Éliana and Samuel Lévesque. Also missed by her many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Patel and the staff at St. Joseph C.C.C. A mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 434 Second St. West, Cornwall on Saturday April 6th at 10:30 am. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Joseph Continuing Care Centre would be appreciated by the family.
