Gloria June Milley
January 8, 1937 – May 4, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the Milley Family say goodbye to their beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and sister, Gloria June Milley. Gloria left this world to join her Husband of 64 years, Albert, in a better place on May 4th 2021. Initially from Toronto, then Montreal and Beloeil, Gloria spent many joyous years of retirement in their country home in Lunenburg, before settling in Cornwall. Gloria will be missed by her four sons, Richard (Nathalie), Christopher, Kevin, Steven (Melody), her six grandchildren, Jessica (Conrad), Xavier, Juliette, Karolyne, Justin and Phoenix, siblings Martin and Donna, and soon to be great-grandson, Lochlan. Gloria instilled the true meaning of family and love in all of us. She consistently went above and beyond to keep our family close, and always fostered a welcoming and comforting home for us to gather. Gloria was an active member her community, from starting-up a soup kitchen for school children in Beloeil, to volunteering for the Newington Church Group and Fair, where she formed many cherished friendships. Gloria was skilled at creating beautiful knitwear & quilts for her family, loved baking, and enjoyed maintaining her gardens at her country home. We wish Gloria everlasting peace, and may she know that we will carry her in our hearts forever. A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held at a later date this summer.
