CARON, Gordon “Gordie” – on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at CAREFOR Cornwall Hospice at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Françoise (née Bourbonnais) Caron. Cherished father of Carmen Fortier (Claude), Don Caron (Cheryl) and Bernie Caron. Adored grandfather of his favorite grandson Curtis. Loving brother of Edgar Caron (late Jacqueline), Jeannine Bergeron (Floyd), Rolland Caron (Rose) and Réjeanne Perreault (late Rhéal). Predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Amelia (née Struthers) Caron. Also predeceased by his siblings Maurice Caron (Barbara), Lionel Caron (Murielle), Roger Caron, Romeo Caron (Patsy) and Fleurette Gerow (Earl). Gordie will be lovingly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 9 a.m. until time of Service on Saturday, April 13, 2019. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Saint Francis de Sales Church at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to A.L.S.
