MALONEY, Gretta (née Laviolette) – Mrs. Gretta Helen Maloney at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of Gerald Maloney. Loving mother of Stephen Maloney (Judy), Sandra Lamarche (Donnie), Cindy McGillis (Bryan), Valerie McDonald (Stephen), and Bradley Maloney (Carol). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jessica, Scott, Carolyn, Melanie, Patrick, Angie, Eric, Brandon, Alexander “Sandy”, Anthony, Keshia, Jessica, and Zachary, and by her 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Darlene Atchison and Joan Brault. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Christina (née Bradley) Laviolette. Those who wish to attend the controlled attendance visitation at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday May 14, 2021 must call the funeral home at 613-938-3888 to reserve a time. Masks are mandatory while inside the funeral home. A funeral ceremony will be held outside of St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday May 15, 2021 at 10:30AM. In keeping with current regulations, those in attendance must remain in their vehicles. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. Gretta is remembered for her 60 years with the CWL as a life member, and for her love of playing cards and the guitar.
